The recessed enclosure for torsion or screw-mount grilles and 8″ drivers shall be Lowell Model XCP84, which shall be USA-certified steel with black powder coat finish with 10.06″ can diameter and 4.06″ depth. It shall feature four (1/2″–3/4″) compound knockouts for conduit, four (1/2″) knockouts for wire, welded receptacles for torsion mount grilles, and a foam pad liner in the bottom. The enclosure shall be made in the USA, and shall be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Buy American Act (BAA) compliant. It shall be UL Listed – when used with UL-approved speaker assemblies.
