The tile-bridge shall be Lowell Model LBS8. It shall be formed 24-gauge galvanized steel measuring 23.75 in. x 15.5 in. with 8.5 in. square opening. The bridge shall be engineered to distribute the weight of an 8 inch speaker assembly to the ceiling support system in a 2’x 2′ or 2’x 4′ suspended tile ceiling. The bridge shall include provisions for seismic anchoring to accommodate code requirements.
