The recessed acoustic enclosure for 8″ speakers shall be Lowell DX108, which shall be steel with an extended flange and black powder epoxy finish. It shall feature 1-1/2″ thick acoustic lining, 15″ diameter, 10.5″ depth, four (1/2″-3/4″) compound knockouts for conduit, and two flexible welded hanger straps. The enclosure shall be made in the U.S.A. with certified U.S. steel.
