The recessed enclosure for torsion or screw-mount grilles and 8″ speakers shall be Lowell model XCP87, which shall be USA-certified steel with black powder coat finish, 10.06″ can diameter and 6.69″ depth. It shall feature four (1/2″–3/4″) compound knockouts for conduit, four (1/2″) knockouts for wire, and 1-1/2″ thick acoustic batting. The enclosure shall be made in the USA, and shall be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Buy American Act (BAA) compliant.
