The torsion speaker grille for 4 in. drivers shall have no visible screws or hardware and shall be Lowell Model WB-4T. It shall be fabricated from one-piece 20-gauge steel reinforced with a peripheral flange and finished in white powder epoxy. The grille diameter shall be 7.25” with a shallow mounting projection of 0.25 in. Model WB-4T shall include welded studs and nuts for mounting specified 4 in. (EIA 5 in.) speaker. It shall also include two torsion bracket/spring devices and installation accessories for mounting a speaker/grille assembly weighing up to 3.5 lbs. to specified Lowell backbox. The torsion/bracket method shall have no visible hardware and shall be adjustable for varying ceiling depths.
