The square speaker grille for 12 in. driver Model 12Q250 (ordered separately) shall be Lowell Model FW-12Q. It shall be one-piece 18-gauge steel with a perforated center and beveled frame. The grille shall include a 20-gauge steel ported subplate and mounting hardware. The grille shall be 15.25 in. square with mounting projection of 0.375 inches. The ported subplate shall include provisions for mounting 12 in. driver Model 12Q250 (11.625 in. dia. bolt pattern) and for mounting the driver/subplate assembly to specified Lowell backbox. The subplate shall be finished in black powder epoxy and the grille shall be finished in white powder epoxy. The grille shall be non-loadbearing and mount to the specified backbox using four 8-32 x 3/8 in. white screws.
